Our homes

Destiny Home

The children/youth placed in this home require an intermediate level of emotional and physical support from staff.  Children/youth in this home are working on issues such as abuse, anger management, cultural isolation, behavior problems, immigration, inappropriate/confused sexuality, poor coping skills, a need for structure, self-esteem issues, impulse control and the need to build positive relationships.

Springboard Home

This home is a structured life-skills environment. This program is based on mutual respect with life’s logical and natural consequences. The purpose of this program is to provide a balanced and guided transition to youths age 15 and older. The Springboard program supports youth in developing good decision-making skills, life and social skills and provides goal oriented treatment and counseling. This unique program is aware of youths continuing need for support and encouragement as they move on to independent living situations.

In addition to the general admission requirements, the Springboard program supports youth who are:

  • Employed or actively seeking employment.
  • Willing to make realistic choices and engage in problem-solving behavior while taking responsibility for their own behaviors.
  • Keen to critique and change belief systems that previously encouraged destructive behavior.
